How do I apply to UASCJ?
We currently have a few openings in the 6th and 7th grade.
To register as a 6th or 7th grader, please come to the school and do so in person. Even if you are already enrolled at another middle school, we can easily transfer your information to UASCJ.
Where: 4200 16th Ave, between 42nd and 43rd Streets
UASCJ Main Office - Room 428 on the 4th floor
Hours: Between 8am to 2pm
Please Bring: 1) Proof of address (such as a bill)
2) ID for the child (such as a birth certificate or green card)
3) The most recent report card from the child's elementary school
4) Copy of the child's immunization card or health information
We are also now accepting applications for rising 6th graders for September 2009. You must apply through your daughter's elementary school (ask her guidance counselor for the form) as well as with our school application. The deadline to submit both is Friday, January 9, 2009.

Who is eligible to attend UASCJ?
UASCJ is participating in the city-run middle school admissions process where applicants are chosen by lottery. We are an "unscreened" school, which means there is no test required. We are also an "unzoned" school, which means that we accept students from all sections of Brooklyn.
