  • Student council has been busy planning a community mural to be unveiled in June!
  • 7th grader Urooj Karim was selected to attend Camp Fuller in Rhode Island this summer.  Her stay is being generously sponsored by Mr. Martin Tackel, a friend of UASCJ.

  • On March 24 over $12,000 was raised by generous donors, guests and auction bidders at UASCJ's first benefit event.  The evening took place at the NYC Police Museum and featured keynote speaker Chief Joanne Jaffe (and guest first lady Michelle Paterson)!

  • Author Rachel Simmons visited our school in January and gave a whole school presentation on girl bullying.  She enjoyed our girls so much, she continues to visit our school whenever her schedule allows.  Thank you, Rachel!

January 2010:
