Ms Liberman Biography

Ms. Liberman is excited to continue teaching 7th grade science and Regents level Physics at UASCJ. Leah first came to UASCJ in 2014 as the Afterschool Program Director, and quickly realized she wanted to become a classroom teacher in this learning community. She was born here in New York City then moved to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English and Art History. After her college experience, Ms. Liberman conducted biomedical research at Johns Hopkins Hospital and at Hebrew University Faculty of Medicine. Ms. Liberman is excited to share her passion for science with her students this year. When Ms. Liberman is not teaching you can find her at a yoga class, hiking or reading outside.
