Ms Daglas Biography
Chrissie Daglas, 8th Grade
Ms. Daglas was raised in Queens, New York. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Hofstra University in Long Island and her masters degree in biochemistry at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. She worked as a neurological lab technician for 3 years in Westchester at the Burke Rehabilitation Institute for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. There, she discovered her love of teaching and never looked back. Ms. Daglas taught science for 17 years in the New York City Public Schools. She hopes to pass on the same passion she has for science to the students at UASCJ. Ms. Daglas competed gymnastics at the regional level. She started at the age of 12. She obtained a gymnastics scholarship in college and taught in local gyms after graduating Hofstra. She also competed in track. Other interests include volleyball and handball.
