UASLE Scholarship Fund

Since 2014, the UASLE Advisory Board and staff have raised money through a 4-mile run in Central Park. These funds have allowed us to provide a rich college-going culture at UASLE. The following activities have been funded in part or in whole by the UASLE Advisory Board:

  • College Scholarships: While many of our students receive generous financial aid packages, there are many unexpected and overwhelming costs associated with attending college, especially for first generation college students. To that end, the UASLE Advisory Board has provided scholarships to graduates. Provided that they remain enrolled in school and maintain a certain GPA, eleven students from the Class of 2015 will receive scholarships totaling $26,500 over four years.

  • Participation in Summer Programs: Many UASLE students participate in summer programs, and while they may receive funding support, UASLE - through our Advisory Board - provides the additional funding necessary to meet transportation needs, family contribution requirements and other associated costs. Funds have helped students attend: Summer Programs at Phillips Exeter, Trailblazers Camp, Camp Herrlich, Steve's Camp and CITY.

  • Maintaining a College Culture @ UASLE: UASLE Advisory Board funds ensure that students and their families can meet the financial requirements of attending overnight college trips, taking AP exams, registering for SAT and SAT II exams and other fees associated with college applications.

To support our continued efforts to offer our students the highest quality education and prepare them for college success, you can donate via GoFundMe Charity.
