Ms.Edwards

Dominique Edwards was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Hunter College in Adolescent Special Education. She got her start in education when she began substituting as a preschool teacher in Staten Island and then went on to become a Special Education Coordinator. Her role in this position led her to develop close relationships with therapists and parents and help build a culture of community and partnership with students, parents, and staff.  


She has a passion for music of all styles and genres and enjoys incorporating that into her teaching practices. In her spare time she enjoys leading youth groups in her community, singing, dancing, traveling, and writing.
