Ms Lopez

Ms. Lopez was born and raised in Brooklyn. She earned her BS in Animal Science and Wildlife Conservation, with a minor in Biology from the University of Delaware. She earned an MS in Ecology from Fordham University and an MA in Education from Hunter College. Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms. Lopez worked as a research technician studying wildlife disease in Athens, GA, and as a marine biology educator for a non-profit in NYC where she found joy in working with students of all ages to learn about science in an urban setting. She has been a teacher at UASLE since 2016 teaching Environmental Science and AP Environmental Science. She loves cats, Broadway shows, traveling, reading, and going out with friends to eat!
