Ms. Mercado

Ms. Mercado was born and raised in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, but currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She attended The Pennsylvania State University where she double majored in Psychology and Philosophy with a concentration in Justice, Law, and Values and minored in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. As a Teach for America member, she is working towards a Master's degree with a dual certification (Teaching Exceptional Learners 7-12 & Middle Childhood 5-9) and concentration in Science through Relay School of Education. In her spare time, she enjoys abstract painting, reading, and spending time with her dogs!
